Now that I've finished my story for Weasley Fest, I can relax and wait for the Weasley goodness... There's sure to be a Weasley for everyone.

Man, I've been busy! Very little reading, and what I've read lately has been Kirk/McCoy from the latest Star Trek movie. Have not been anywhere near my flist in a few days (the one day I wanted to & had a bit of time, I had a migraine), so if you have posted something you think I should see, please link me here. This includes Snarry-a-Thon entries that I haven't commented on yet... please?

Still marking IB exams... the latest batch are from NC and aren't as terrible as the ones from CA were, which is good. The 'bad' ones are worse to mark (but help my students, since all of North America is compared).

Going to New Brunswick for a marine biology field trip - 18h on the bus, one way, but marine biology on the Bay of Fundy should be cool. 35 students coming along for the ride - we leave next weekend! Yay!

Currently (in the back of my mind, anyway) trying to finish up my

weasley_fest submission... due about a week after I return from NB. Will need a beta at some point, if anyone's interested in helping. (Charlie/Draco, a bit of H/C, and hopefully porn - the part I'm trying to write now).

Ok... my first exposure to the great joy that is slash was Harry Potter/Severus Snape, still one of my favourite pairings, but certainly not the only one I read, write, imagine...

So, being relatively new to the slash scene, in a manner of speaking (it's been a few years now, but that's miniscule in slash terms), I have never read Star Trek slash. Well, not ST:TOS, anyway...

I have seen the new movie twice (which is a lot for me considering it's a busy time of year & it's only been out for a week) and when

accioslash posted some recs for the new movie, I had to look. It's one of those train-wreck situations, you know?
